Today i start worked in Hotel Jannah. i came to worked at 9 am. i the morning Kak Ani the hotel manager give me short briefing about the work i need to. so i need to be rooms keeping in the hotel. after that Kak Tikah take over the briefing and show me around the hotel, room and facilities store. Than the work start!. Kak Tikah show me how to clean the room and what stuff need to bring into the rooms and what need to change. The problem are the air conditioner leak into the room. It happen because the air conditioner was on non stop. we need to dry the floor first before cleaning the room like changing the bed sheet because we don't want the bed sheet get wet from the leaking water. The second problem is there is a lot of trash all over the room. These problem make the cleaning process slow down and we take 2 hour to clean one room. One more thing is toilet cleaning. In the morning the working routine is the same. Start with room cleaning but today we did it without supervisor. I clean one room take almost half an hour. I take longer to clean because I keep forget to take the important thing so I keep come and go to take the stuff. After cleaning, i take out the trash after that take the dirty laundry to wash it. After all the laundry washed me and my friend hang all the laundry at the cloth hanger. In the evening at 4 all the hotel worker except part time worked have meeting with the hotel owner. After meeting the banquet started. we having bihun sup, mee sanggul, agar-agar, and kuih raya for the banquet. Every morning I start my work with room cleaning but today I sweeping in front the hotel, hotel lobby, and office before house keeping. Went house keeping started it not just cleaning the room it also dusting entire room and corridor to remove all the spider webs and dust. Today is a busy day. There are 4 rooms to clean so I divided into 2 rooms each with my friend. So I cleaning 2 rooms alone luckily it just single bed room. So it easy for me to clean it. Then after I finish clean the 2 rooms i rest a little bit and continue another 2 bed rooms all by myself again. First I only need to clean 3 room but later one by one customers stay in room in the ground floor check out and it almost all room in the ground floor I cleaned. In the evening I learn how to manage the company bills and document. Kak Ani says that personal expenses and company expenses cannot be mix. They need to be separate in different file. oday the weather still cloudy and when I went to get all the stuff for the room. I found out the towels are run out because the towels were still at the laundry. They still did not return the towels back to the hotel. So there are 10 rooms did not have towels. I hate when someone left the room very messy and cigarette smell really strong. The smell really strong till we need to change the bed sheet and blanket cover. We need to let the room door open to make the cigarette smell gone. I also learn to extend customers check in. Today not as busy as yesterday. It kinda relax today no rushing. Well to relax till I feel really boring because there nothing to do after all rooms have been cleaned.
