I am an avid soccer player, cross country runner, and wrestler and overall sports is a huge part in my life and has been for all my life. My life and what I do evolves around my sports schedule and my performance in those activities.

outdoors

I love the outdoors and try to spend as much time as I can outside doing various things like hiking, fishing, hunting, and even just exploring and enjoying nature. Whenever I am feeling stressed, I tend to go outside to calm myself. While many people are glued to their devices, I try to branch away from that and enjoy what God gave us.

honors math classes

I have always enjoyed math but due to my dyslexia it has not been easy. I have had to study for countless hours for math in order to get the grades I need to succeed in that class. This achievement of staying in honors math my whole high school career is an achievement to me and is something that I am proud of.

not making the top tier soccer team

One challenge that occurred to me last year was not making the top team for soccer. I was really bummed about it because I knew I had what it took to make the team, but the coaches did not see that and cut me from the team. Although this has been a setback in my career as a soccer player, I believe that it has made me into a better player, and it allowed me to make new relationships with people that I would have never met and people that I would call good friends now.

wrestling

This happened last year during the wrestling season. My first year ever wrestling was in freshman year and I did not win a single match my entire season. The following season, my sophomore year, I put a lot of effort into pre-season grinding and putting in the hours to become good at wrestling. Then my first match comes around and I win it. This was a huge achievement for me and I was proud and happy that I had put in those hours of blood, sweat, and tears and focused on the goal of winning. I was able to see my hard work pay off and I was able to prove to myself that if I work towards a goal I can achieve it.

Paintball

One activity that I do a lot is play paintball. I am an avid paintballer and love the game. I really enjoy the strategy and finesse you have to have in order to be successful at it. I play a lot with my friends and have created a lot of friendships from playing it.

soccer

The main sport that I do and most passionate about is soccer. I have been playing it all my life and was first introduced to me by my father. I enjoy playing soccer with him and it is one of my favorite activities I do with him. He has always pushed me to be a better player and I am so grateful that he did that because I have gaining and enjoying all the effects that has come from him investing in me.

fishing

I am an avid angler and love to fish. I fish because it is out in nature, and it calms me down and lets me have some time to myself while still being fun. I have created great memories with friends and on my own fishing and is one of my favorite hobbies. I regularly watch fishing videos on YouTube to improve what tackle I should use, and it has also created a great talking piece that I could bring up in conversations with friends and family.
