I snapped this picture of the first sunset after your mom went to heaven, because I'm sure she sent it just for you. She was a great friend to me in the year or so that I knew her. We shared coffee and lots of laughter (some at your expense!) Your mom was obsessed with the two of you. She thought you were the most amazing children there ever were, and she was passionate about taking care of your family. Your mom was so proud of each of you and knew you so very well. She would want you to work hard, play hard, and love Jesus.

Dear Henrik and Eric,
I knew your mom way back in the early 90s when we were both out of high school and single. We spent a lot of time together in the Faith Church singles group. I remember her having a beautiful singing voice, and because of that I asked her to sing in my wedding in 1998. Life became busy, but we kept in touch. I will never forget the times your mom would bring over her golden retriever, Libbee, and my young daughter would just love all over that dog! I was a bridesmaid in your mom's wedding.... All the red, white and blue! So patriotic! She was a wonderful friend and I will miss her. She loved the Lord, and I know there will be a sweet reunion one day. Continue in the path your mother started....and you will see her again.

Love, Monica Peterson

Dear Henrik & Eric,

You had the most amazing mother in the world. Words can not describe her beauty, laughter and love that she felt for the two of you and your dad.
I was blessed to know your mom when you were both just twinkles in her eye. We went to school together, that may seem funny for you to think about, but yes your mom did go to school. She was very smart and I know that she was very proud of you Henrik, when you started school, and was looking forward for you, Eric, to be able to go, because she knew how smart you both are.
I too will miss your mom. But when I smell fresh pumpkin or zucchini bread I will think of her. Because I knew how much she loved to bake and make good things for you to eat.
When I see an aardvark I will remember how on a trip to New York that I took with you mom, we had to go shopping to find a stuffed one because she loved them. That’s how your mom was, she loved all things and found beauty in everything.
I will miss seeing you moms smile. Henrik, you may not remember but you came to visit me in Florida. You were very little, your little bother wasn’t born yet. I told your mom then that I thought you looked like her you definitely had her smile and sparkle in your eyes. Eric, I loved the pictures your mom posted of you on Facebook. I told her that you had her inquisitive side always getting into things and wanting to learn something new.
Boys, your mom will always be in your hearts. You have a very special angel watching over you. Always remember she loved you more then anything in this world. Listen to your dad, work hard and remember to always love Jesus.

Your moms friend
Rose
