Some people think it is a bad idea to borrow money from a close friend, I don´t agree with that, because if he is a good friend he will pay it back in small instalments. If he´s your best friend and he says that he´ll pay you back ,even in small amounts, I think you should lend it to him.
In another case you should say to him that he can borrow the money from the bank.
