What I remember from Inunnguiniq is that there are different meanings to each Inuit principals? (Qaujimajatuqangit) but the one i really like is inuuqatigiittiarniq (sp). We have to give respect to others if we want to be respected, knowing how to be there for others who needs it, building relationships with people around you, there is more to it but that’s all I remember.

Is we teach the children the history of our culture, what we eat and we can use everything that we harvest. Let them know our Inuktitut language and knowledge that our culture is rich. And that we share food with each other. Give respect with elders and other family and friends.

What I remember from Inunnguiniq is that we have to teach children to apologize. Building relationships and helping is my favourite because these two are a part of life-long thing. If you help, you receive help. And if you want respect, you have to give respect.
