It is a story about a goldfish princess named Ponyo who has ran away from home. A human boy named Sosuke encounters her and they become friends. Ponyo longs to become human and as their friendship grows she becomes more human like. She is brought home to her kingdom by her father and in the process of breaking free spills magical elixir that endangers Sosuke’s village. I choose this book because its similar to a graphic novel.
