Adams was so lucky to have you over the past several years. Your concern for the kids, for their well-being, and your understanding of who they are at that age was something that meant so much to not only the kids but also us parents.   I’ll never forget your kindness and your words of encouragement with everything I was dealing with at that time. 
You did everything you could to show support for not only parents and students but also the staff. 
I know that the Guilford public school system will miss you terribly and you will leave a huge whole to be filled. However, I am thrilled for all that you and Tucker are going to give to this world. From before school started Roberts 7th grade year when you gave us a personal tour of the school and helped us navigate 7th grade with him all the way through his 8th grade year.  
From before Keira’s first day of 7th grade she knew all about Mr. Regan.  Again you took time out to meet Keira, and make her feel welcome as a 7th grader. Both years went my fast for each of them. There was even a pandemic thrown in the mix of things. Thank you for your constant encouragement, patience, compassion and acceptance of both of our children.  They have some great memories of you and their time at Adams.

What a mark you will leave behind with big shoes to fill. It’s a shame that all those students newly entering Adams won’t get to know you. When you believe in a student, there’s nothing short of bending over backwards to see him/her succeed. That’s what you did for Lucio! You understood exactly what needed to get done and saw right through the obstacles he was facing. Your ability to comprehend challenges in learning was remarkable. All this while in the midst of a pandemic, but you didn’t waver for a second.  Our family wishes you all the best in your new adventure! But, I may text you every now & again! Thank you for always showing the AMS students and parents support, kindness, patience, understanding, positivity, compassion and fairness. You treat each student as an individual and with respect. You always know how to bring a smile to someone's face and use humor, when needed, to ease a situation. You have touched our family's heart over the past few years and have guided us through these challenging times of Covid. We are amazed by your devotion to your students, teachers and staff. You were a present and constant figure at Adams home baseball games and at the front entrance of school at drop off and pick up. We are so grateful that we had the honor of having you as Liam's principal. AMS and the GPS will feel your loss but you, along with Tucker, will continue to positively impact lives. From the first time we chatted, I could tell that your presence was going to have a wonderfully positive and powerful impact on the kids and the staff. You reached out and connected with every kid at Adams, they felt "seen" and cared about.  Both Erin and Kelsey shared stories of chats they had with you, in the hallways, at recess, during lunch, and sometimes just walking into the building. Your presence is going to be missed, and all of Guilford is going to miss out on your kindness, positivity, and leadership. We are so sad to see you leave, but know that we are sending you with warm wishes and big hugs!  Congrats on your next adventure!
