We see solubility everywhere in our daily lives. It's the process where one substance dissolves into another.

Here are a couple of common examples:

* Making coffee or tea at home: When you add sugar to your hot drink, the sugar dissolves, becoming a part of the liquid.

* Carbonated drinks: The fizz in soda is from carbon dioxide gas dissolving in the water under pressure. When you open the can, the gas escapes as bubbles because it's no longer as solubl e.

We see solubility daily in cooking (sugar and salt dissolving in water), in taking medications that dissolve in the body, in carbonated drinks where CO2 dissolves in liquid, in cleaning with substances like baking soda, and even in nature with oxygen dissolving in water for aquatic life. The concept of "like dissolves like" is a principle behind many everyday phenomena, such as mixing oil and vinegar, or how some substances remain insoluble.

Solubility is all around us in daily life. For example, when you stir honey into warm tea, the honey slowly disappears and mixes completely with the liquid. This shows how a solid can dissolve in a liquid, creating a uniform solution.

Other interesting examples include:

Effervescent tablets dissolving in water at school to form a fizzy drink.

Salt spreading evenly in soup while cooking.

Lemon juice mixing completely in water to make lemonade.

When we put sugar in a cup of tea and stir, The sugar disappears and mixes completely with the tea. This is because sugar is soluble in water. But if we put sand in water, it doesn’t dissolve and just sinks to the bottom. This means sand is insoluble in water.
