I collected items from neighbors to donate to the homeless shelter/warming station in downtown BHM.

Boutwell Auditorium, BHM is converted into a warming station for people in need.

It has gotten hard for my friend to go to the grocery store. She uses her iPhone to send me a pic of her grocery list. I use the Walmart app to place her order. Her groceries are then delivered to her door.

Zoo Camp Volunteer

I volunteer at the zoo, helping out with zoo camps. I normally work with kindergarten, first and second grades. I assist the teacher, and make sure all kids are safe, learning, and having fun!

Christmas Giving Hope - Kealon Busby

Church of the Highlands hosts something every year called Giving Hope where toys are donated and organized in a way that looks like a store so that families who are in need can go through and shop for their children. My mom and I served. She helped wrap gifts and I helped carry gifts out to cars for people. My mom got some pictures from where she was helping but I did not have my phone and we did not get pictures of us but I thought I would share some pictures. We got an email from the church that said nearly 4,000 families were served and over 50,000 gifts were given. It was really great.

My friend, Masyn, and I delivered a bag of warm clothes, blankets and food to the homeless community in Bham. Masyn plays basketball at Samford University and is always looking for opportunity to help in the community.

hi I am ashlynn I am in the 8th grade this past few months our youth group has done many community reach outs one including giving to our homeless shelter we spent 4 hours making and preparing all food for women in need!!! We have many other things planned and I will be doing many hours with people in need!
