Group 2 experiences: Some rural, some urban. Understaffed programs = less rest time. Overcrowded playgrounds with mixed grades = not enough time/ space/ opportunity for deep play. Some schools have a Forest Friday for full outdoor play.

Low hum of stress and trauma pervasive in all children, layered with the extreme behaviors of children with big traumas and sensory/neurodiversity needs.

Sometimes a playground is intimidating due to the fact that structures almost command a certain type of movement. The kids on our playgrounds constantly seek a tree in a corner or the most unbuilt area
