This hands-on activity encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and scientific curiosity while helping the cadets connect classroom knowledge with real-life applications. Through the experiment, participants developed practical skills and gained a deeper understanding of basic chemical reactions and safety procedures.

During the experiment, they used glucose solution, sodium hydroxide solution, methylene blue indicator, distilled water, a conical flask, and safety equipment (gloves and protective goggles) to observe a fascinating color-changing chemical reaction. By shaking and leaving the solution to stand, the cadets watched it change between blue, green, and yellow, demonstrating oxidation and reduction processes. This engaging hands-on activity promoted scientific inquiry, teamwork, observation skills, and safe laboratory practices, while showing how chemistry can explain real-life phenomena.
