A technique for writing a good story is to have a strong structure with a lot of details and imagery so the readers can imagine themselves in that situation or setting.

When writing a summary don't add too much information as it isn't a review but a quick explanation of events.

 Punctuation and use of grammatical tools are all examples of convention.


In a horror movie, book, or text all of these terms are important because they all add up in the setting, or events leading up to the resolution.
