I believe that agency is a powerful mean to support all the members in the learning community through promoting their voice, choice, and ownership in order to maintain a positive educational culture and a community of independent learners who take responsibility for their own learning.

Another important aspect in the enhanced PYP is the embedding of "Reflection" key-concept throughout the programe of inquiry.

Furthermore, the inclusion of literacy skills is an important factor for information gathering, critical and creative thinking as well as for communication and collaboration.

The focus on inclusion and the well-being of learners will also foster a school culture of belonging, trust , and self-efficacy.

In this way, I believe that the enhanced PYP supports the integration of international - mindedness through agency , approaches to learning , learner profiles , forms of actions and a flexible learning environment which will allow learners to achieve conceptual understandings.

We may face challenges as we are not familiar with these enhancements and most of the stakeholders are not on the same level of awareness and commitment. We may face some resistance from our parents to be involved in our learning process and the way we are trying to implement these enhancements in our school community, we are trying to overcome this by opening different communication channels with our parents and do alot of orientations to help them be familiar with the new changes and updates. Moreover the teaching staff is facing a challenge to balance between their tight schedules and assigned tasks and to attend different PD programs or to inquire into the ways to implement these enhancements in their classrooms. 
Also our learners passed a very tough time last year and they skipped many important concepts due to the lockdown and we are trying to compensate that this year by taking extra care of the content which may appear to mask the inquiry-based and the concept-based approaches we are adopting , but we are trying to achieve this balance by transmitting our learning process beyond the school walls, by sending multiple tasks , get the parents involved, don't limit the inquiry inside the class and send many asynchronous tasks by using our digital resources to have extra time for inquiry inside the school.

-A big gap appeared after last year's lockdown. Accordingly, we as teachers had to re-visit last year's concepts so we can build up on. In addition to that, we have very tight schedules (focusing more on language), various tasks and PD, which puts teachers, students and parents under stress all the time.
To overcome this, we're sending tasks back home with students, involving parents whenever possible, and collaborating to come up with ideas to better deliver the content to our learners.

Therefore, one of the biggest challenges is to help these students to regain their self-confidence  in their ownership and responsibility to gather data and do tasks on their own.
Moreover, we had to go over the concepts of the previous academic year, due to the lockdown, before teaching this year's concept.

As for the learner, AGENCY is the key word. It is when learners have the power of voice, choice and ownership of their own learning. Moreover, extending the age of early years allowing them to have minimum four units throughout the year, this will definitely allow more chance for play, social and emotional development of the young learners as well as offering many opportunities for authentic explorations.

In the learning and teaching, one of the main changes is renaming the transdisciplinary skills to be Approaches to Learning. Furthermore, there is a flexibility for schools to create their own subskills if not following the subskills provided by the IB. ATLs changes took place to align with other IB programmes as well as supporting Inquiry establishing a base for lifelong learners.

Attitudes are no longer there however it is embedded in the Learner profile attributes. Emphasizing the significance of the learner profile attributes across the learning community is of high importance.

In the Learning community more focus is on wellbeing, self-efficacy, and inclusion.

However, it is my belief that the following ideas about the PYP enhancements are priorities:
-  Focusing on Agency–voice, choice and ownership in learning process encourages active inquiring students to take responsibility for their own learning.
-    The processes of learning and teaching in early years that includes play, relationships, learning spaces, and symbolic exploration and expression is strongly engaging with technology, language and development of skills.
-    PYP enhancements guide and support inclusive teaching by showing learning opportunities that help each student to develop and follow applicable personal goals.
