Youve really made a big impact in my life]]> 2021-06-06 18:12:14 UTC https://padlet.com/marisbayan/o1fu7nxl33gb6dyz/wish/1588196425 i love you Ms.Des, i always will. https://padlet.com/marisbayan/o1fu7nxl33gb6dyz/wish/1588378304 I still vividly remember the moments when Ms.Des brought such an impact in my life, when I was in first grade,  a new student entering st.scho, I remember Ms.Des would often choose top 5 students who displayed the best conduct and wrote our names on the board, which really motivated us to be at our best behavior, i remember it was the year 2005 our batch was grade 2, the first year of merit cards distribution in st scho and many of us did not recieve merit cards and you were so shocked for all of us and would say we all deserved merit cards, you were the only teacher who said that. In grade 3 you joked around by all of us having boyfriends soon and then us being your 9 year old students said “ ewwwww “ in 4th grade you taught us how to pray, thank him first, then ask, then pray for others, to this day I still follow that format in my prayers. In 5th grade we were introduced to lectio divina and in 6th grade we all wanted to use the rain maker because you made it look so fun to do. Most of all, in all my years in st scho no one is as passionate in reaching out for the needy as you are, Ms.Des. No one is as giving as you. When I first entered st scho back in 2004 it was you who insipired me to join my very first club, the outreach club and at an early age you gave me that opportunity to serve and play with the children of inchican. You also told our batch to always wear the belt of benedictine values around our waste, and we will be protected as we go our separate ways in life. More than 10 years later and i still keep that in mind. I have so much fond memories with you Ms. Des, your kindness, genuine big heart and love has shaped me to be who I am today, even when we all entered highschool, and you were not our teacher anymore, you still looked out for us, reminded us to always stay grounded and rooted in our benedictine values as we would bump into you, and would cheer us on as we almost entered college. The last time I saw you was January 2020, its been 6 years since I last saw and even talked to you, it was just a coincidence bumping into you and yet you were still the same Ms.Des I met when I was 7, you called me, asked how i am, even conversed with my mom because thats who you are, you also develop relationships with our parents, we took a photo together, you hugged me tight and said you were proud of who i have become, i cant believe that was the last time I saw you, but I am so happy God made us cross paths for the last time at that moment. He knew I needed to thank you in person. I have so much more I want to say, but cant seem to compose my thoughts and feelings, Ms.Des, you will forever be remembered by so many of your students, you served your purpose in this world and your legacy will surely live on. Im still crying knowing I can never talk to you or hug you physically again but I find comfort knowing you are no longer in pain and that you are now home with our Father. I love you so much Ms.Des, so so much, thank you for touching our lives. Til we meet again.

For a true and genuine person I met, I felt so blessed in getting to know you and being one of your many companions at St. Scho Westgrove. Your kindness and honesty really touched my life.
