Hello, I am Monkey King!
I used to be an arrogant and boastful monkey and I didn't care what people thought about me, but that ever so changed thanks to Wong Lai-Tsao. "If it is the will of Tze-Yo-Tzuh for me to die for your stubbornness, then I accept." is what Wong Lai-Tsao said to me and it made me realize he would die for me so how could I not help him. Wong Lai-Tsao taught me to be who I truly am - a monkey. He told me "On this journey… we have no need… for shoes" and when I took my shoes off, that was the first step to becoming the monkey I am. Now I am a caring, enlightened monkey and I realized how good it is to be a monkey. "You know, Jin, I would have saved myself from five hundred years' imprisonment beneath a mountain of rock had I only realized how good it is to be a monkey." is what I told Jin, showing him how much good it is to be yourself. I never try to fit in with the gods anymore because I have accepted myself as a monkey and I am proud of it. Tze-Yo-Tzuh and the other gods of heaven can agree with me now that I am not as arrogant, mean and selfish as I was.

I was born long ago, before any monkey could remember. I was born from a rock. A simple, random rock. When my eyes first opened they flashed rays of light deep into the sky that all of heaven noticed. Soon after, I purged Flower-Fruit Mountain of the Tiger-Spirit that had haunted it for centuries. I established my kingdom there and monkeys from all around the world praised me. From then on, I've lived most my life on Flower-Fruit Mountain and I ruled my kingdom of monkeys. In Flower-Fruit Mountain, flowers bloom year round, fruits hang heavy with nectar, and monkeys dance, play and live their happy lives under my watchful eye. Flower-Fruit Mountain is located under heaven, on the ground of earth surrounded by trees and water. I sleep and live in my Royal Chamber in the mountain. Since I was just a monkey from the Flower-Fruit Mountain, all the gods didn't want to look at me as one of them when I wanted to become a god. They pictured me as a monkey with no shoes and no chance of becoming a god. The gods considered me and his monkeys as fleas. Now I live in heaven with all the gods after being installed as emissary to Tze-Yo-Tzuh and my family was brought to heaven with me. I live in the clouds and I am finally allowed into the dinner parties!

Relationship with my son, Wei-Chen Sun
Jin Wang was really surprised after I told him his best friend. Wei-Chen-Sun is my son. Wei-Chen-Sun is my oldest son and he was aspired to follow in my footsteps and become and emissary himself. Tze-Yo-Tzuh told him the path is not easy but he knew. Wei-Chen's test of virtue was to live in the mortal world for forty years and I visited him once a year to assess his progress. I gave him a humans child toy that transformed from a monkey to a human so it can remind him who he is. After that, we told each other goodbye and he was on his way to the ground. Wei Chen's test was going good for a while but on my third time visiting him things started getting bad. Wei Chen told me he had told a lie and I got a little angry at him. He then told me he didn't want to be Tze-Yo-Tzuh's Emissary because humans sicken him. Wei Chen decided to live the rest of his life in the mortal world using it for his pleasure. He told me "anything is better than a lifetime of servitude to humans." and he left. From that moment on, he refused my visits and I have been visiting Jin Wang instead.

I would like to apologize to all the gods, the goddesses, the demons, and the spirits for beating all of you guys up. I was angry that you all laughed at me for thinking I was more than a monkey but a god. I am sorry for using my twelve disciplines of Kung-Fu on each one of you. I put you all through pain and I let my anger get ahead of me. I have now learned my lesson and I promise not to beat anyone up again. Unless they are being really mean to me and not let me into the dinner parties in heaven. So once again, I apologize to you all, I hope you can forgive me, I know what it's like to be punched in the face and it hurts a lot. I'm guessing that was karma from when Jin Wang literally punched me so hard that my head flew away from my body.

I refused to free myself quickly when you asked me to return to my true form. You said you would die for me and I didn't believe you when you said you were my last chance at freedom. Seeing you suffer in pain made me realize something so I had to step in and save you. I'm very sorry. I also wanted to thank you for making me realize I am a monkey and nothing else. Wei Chen !!! Let me visit you son, I miss you very very much. I know you don't want to be an emissary anymore but I would still like to visit you. I've been visiting your best friend, Jin Wang and you guys aren't even friends anymore after what he did, so I don't know what you've been doing and how you've been. Let me see you at least once, or just let me know how you are doing. I know you said humans disgust you and that you don't want to become Tze Yo Tzhu's emissary but that doesn't mean you can just take me out of your life and ignore me for the rest of your life. I hope you're doing good and you're actually doing something with your life and not out smoking, drinking or doing any drugs. I just wanted to tell you that I'm happy you and my son, Wei Chen, are good friends now. I want you to help him be normal now. I don't want him to be smoking or doing anything bad or I'll force him back up here in heaven and turn him back into a monkey. I want you to remind him to not forget who he is and make sure he doesn't lose the robot-human-monkey toy thing I gave him.
