"A bit of indecision crawled into his deep azure eyes" (Armentrout 184). This word is important to the story, because Carson doesn't know if he should stay with Samantha and comfort her or leave, because there is still tension from when Samantha was mean, but he is worried for his friend. 

2. Glinting: a person's eyes shining with a particular emotion.
"Up close, the black eye was worse, but there was something glinting in his one good eye. Something that chilled my insides, made me want to run" (Armentrout 242). The word is important, because it shows that Del, after they broke up, still is thinking about her even if it is scary for Samantha and she doesn't want to date him again. 

3. Circumstantial: evidence pointing indirectly toward someone's guilt but not conclusively proving it. 
"Any evidence the police had was circumstantial, but people had been convicted on far less" (Armentrout 264). This word is important to the book, because it shows that even if there is not enough evidence to say that Samantha is the murderer they can still convict her of killing Cassie even if she didn't kill her best friend.

I think breaking up with Del was a smart choice, because he only cared about having fun and doesn't care about your feelings. Making up with your childhood friends, Carson and Julie, was wonderful, because they care about you more than your rich friends that only hurt others. Your memory of Carson made me upset, because it show how mean you were and that you think he is involved in your accident and you think he did it, but you don't know yet and hurt his feelings. I hope that you find out who did it and that you and Carson make up.

My book is in the mystery genre, because Samantha was involved in a crime that made her lose her memory and that killed her best friend, Cassie. While the police are trying to find out what happened, Samantha is trying to remember what happened as well, as she is trying to remember someone is leaving notes to her that scare her. For example, "My breath caught and I dropped the letter, scuttling back on the bed. Pulse racing, I closed my eyes, but I could still see the words. Don't look back.
