My father was an awesome guy. Every time we went to our beach house, my father did everything to make our days the best we could experience. We used to wake up by the smell of the coffee and the delicious food that my father, the early bird, had prepared for us. He invited us to go to the beach and after all that, he made a barbecue. At night, we talked about many things while drinking good wine for hours until late.

When I travel to another country, I'm always an early bird at the airport. I arrived about 4 hours before my flight because I like the whole process of checking in my luggage and immigration calmly and then browsing through the duty-free shop. About a year ago, my friend and I were planning a trip to the beach. We were super excited, we talked about what we would wear, the places we would visit and so much more! Finally, we packed our things and went to our destination. We got to the hotel at night, both tired of the travel, and we slept right away. I´m not an early bird and after a long car trip, I was hoping I could wake up late the next day. However, my friend had other plans. At 6AM, she woke me up already wearing a bikini and ready to go to the beach. I complained for about 20 minutes before actually getting up. How could she be that happy so early in the morning? In that moment, I realized I was definetly not an early bird.

Every time I go out with Ana Beatriz, I'm always the Early Bird. Like, I scheduled our meeting at 3:30 in the afternoon, she arrives at 4:30 in the afternoon. LOL. Due to my family’s financial situation, fresh out of Middle School and beginning High School, I had to start working at thirteen years old in a private bank as an office boy. I stepped into the professional world eager to develop knowledge and skills. During that time, the initial days were usually a mix of learning and adapting to the new environment. As an early bird worker, I often faced unique challenges that required specific needs to be met for me to thrive in my role. I remember having a strong desire to make a good impression, often staying late or taking on additional responsibilities to demonstrate my commitment and work ethic. During this phase, mistakes were inevitable, but each one became a learning opportunity that shaped my approach to work. Guidance from more experienced colleagues helped me gain confidence and avoid pitfalls, but certainly, being an early bird contributed significantly to my growth and success on my journey, providing the discipline and resilience needed to navigate the challenges of balancing work and education at such a young age.
