Central park was open in 1856 and it was planned by Frederick Law Olmsted. This park is largely artificial. 

Central Park is the most biggest park in the world, the street near the park take the name of Central park; this place was added in most famous film and telefilm.

The park is supervised by Central Park Commission and in the 1857 the commission held a competition for design of landscaping. The most important innovation for the project of the park were the routes circulation separated for horse, pedestrians and car. The street for the car was were placed to a lower level.

Before start of the work for the park had evacuate the people from the zone.

Central Park had a perimeter of 9.7 Km. Every weekend there is a race for cyclists, skaters and runners.

In the 2012 was a race of New York in the Central Park for the victim of the hurricane Sandy.

In the north of the park there is an artificial lake and in the winter is skating ring and in the summer is a swimming pool for the people. In the park there is 21 play for children and executions of puppets.
