I asked my mom" what does the American dream mean to you". she responded with "I think the American dream is to just be happy. you can have everything in the world yet still feel empty." I then asked her what her dream was and if she had felt like she accomplished it. she stated her dream was to get a good job, own a house and be able to provided for her kids and family which she has achieved all those things"
