What happens when a set of inseparable twins go to college? Meet Cather and Wren, two twins who have done everything together since they were little toddlers reading the Simon Snow Series together. But now, they aren't young, they are going into college. Cather thinks that she is going to be rooming with Wren in college, becoming a writer, but Wren has already found herself a new room mate for her first year. Which forces Cather to mingle with the freshman from her school and find herself a room mate of her own. Cather is now out into the real world without her sister to help guide her, so her new room mate takes that role. Read Fangirl to find out what happens next.

I loved this book for plenty of reasons. I related to both of the twins in this book and I could understand what the characters were feeling in the book. The characters are really easy to relate to.

The plot line was very interesting and never confused me along the way. Also, there was a little relationship in the story that was also very interesting to follow.

I can compare this book to my real life. I say this because in my life I have been very into a story before, so I have read some really good fan fictions before. And in this book, Cather is a writer for the Simon Snow Series.

"Oh, hey. Christmas cups. Did you bring me a gingerbread latte?"
pg. 155

I like this quote because it mentions the Christmas Cups at Starbucks. It relates to my life because I love Starbucks and a character in the book, Levi, works at Starbucks. Therefore, he brings his friends drinks after his shift.

"' How do you feel when I smile at you?'"

I like this quote because it is one of the cute things about Levi and Cather's relationship. This relationship is one of my favorite relationships from a book. This quote just describes the relationship.

"'So... emergency dance party?'"

I love this quote the most because it is from my favorite scene in the book. In the scene before this one, Cather got into an argument with her teacher and it got her in trouble in the end. Cather's way of dealing with stress is to have an emergency dance party. This is one of my favorite parts because I can relate to it because it is one of my ways to deal with stress also.

I definitely recommend this book. If you are a fan of realistic fiction, you will love this book. This book was full of funny conversations and a whole lot of relatable situations that everyone relates to. I think this book is more generated towards teenagers and young adults. People of all ages can read this book but it is most relatable to teens.
