CTE Faculty evaluated industry credentials that are most likely for people to have and that list is with A&R for auto awarding through the CPL process. As new ones come in, the college builds on that list so that they won't have to review that same credential again.

Form a CPL Taskforce and Get Key Stakeholders Across Campus Talking

Invite folks from Admissions and Records, counselors, faculty, your AO, student services reps, other relevant individuals on campus to go over the process, understand the needs of each department, center the student, and create/revise your process so that it has a smooth, clear workflow for students to follow. Review Title 5 regs to ensure alignment and lean on other colleges to collaborate!

If anyone has generic or industry specific portfolio rubrics to share, please do! I have the CPL toolkit general template but would love to see how others are doing this. We have CPL courses in progress with Cinema and Business that will use portfolio so if anyone has samples, please share!

Do you use a one stop testing center for CBE or is it individual dept that must schedule CBE for CPL candidates?
