Our school is called EB Enxertos and is located in Vizela, in the north of Portugal.

It is a centenary school of the first cycle that belongs to the Grouping of Schools of Caldas de Vizela.

In our school there are ten classrooms, a canteen, a large playground, with a football field and a playground, a library and an A.T.L.

   Caldas de Vizela is a Portuguese city in the district of Braga, in the North region of Portugal. The county was created on May 24, 1361, and ended on February 3, 1408.

   The name of the city (Vizela) derives from the name of the river that crosses it, Rio Vizela (the river that runs through the Parque das Termas de Vizela). This river is born in the Serras de Fafe and flows into the Rio Ave and is about 40km long. The name Vizela, in turn, is a diminutive of the name Ave, and comes from the Latin Avicella.

   The municipality was restored on March 19, 1998 by dismembering 5 parishes of Guimarães, 1 of Lousada and 1 of Felgueiras, at the same time its seat was elevated to the status of city. The municipality of Vizela is divided into 5 parishes.

   Vizela is also associated with the practice of thermalism, which was a legacy left by the Roman peoples.

   Taking advantage of the therapeutic quality of the water, indicated for respiratory diseases, skin diseases and rheumatism, the current thermal spa was built in 1870.

   In addition to the thermal aspect, the municipality offers visitors other attractions, from several interesting monuments to beautiful landscapes and the possibility of practicing various leisure activities, such as rowing, tennis or fishing.

    Our class is 1st A, from the Devesinha Basic School. We are twenty one  students (eight female students and thirteen male students). Our ages are between 5 and 6 years old.

    We are assiduous and interested in all school activities.

    All together we learn to grow… and to live, at this school!

The 4^th H class at Enxertos School is made up of eighteen students: eleven female students and seven male students. They are very committed, creative students and eager to learn new things.

They really enjoy using new technologies in their learning and above all learning and making new friends!

Class B consists of twenty students from the 2nd year of schooling, aged seven and eight. They are dynamic, curious and creative children, participating enthusiastically in all activities. They love to investigate, experiment, discover, dance, sing, paint, dramatize, play, talk, read, write, calculate, carry out study visits to the environment, admire nature, raise awareness of habits of preservation of the Environment, expand knowledge in the field of the various arts, know stories of enchantment, carry out activities that allow the development of creativity... In short, they enjoy learning at the EB Devesinha School, where they feel good and grow up in a happy environment!

The Enxertos JI class A group is made up of 25 children, 10 girls and 15 boys, aged between 3 and 6 years old. The majority of students who had already attended this class since the previous school year; 12 new students entered and the older ones sponsored the younger ones in order to ease their adaptation.
