All the other stars were sleek. They rotated in perfect synchrony around a central sun. No inconsistency in their trajectory, no fluctuation in their speed: their passage was nothing but a smooth arc which, if drawn, would have split the galaxy evenly, smoothly- a clean circle on a black ceiling. But then there was Saturn. Saturn wasn't perfect, there was no smooth arc in his trajectory: he wobbled and bobbled and flew in tangents. He staggered and crashed. He said he was weighed down by his enormous wings, but the other planets took no notice other than to smoothly, precisely manoeuvre around him as he bumbled through the sky. Then one day a black hole appeared, but Saturn was no where to be seen. He had drifted off noisily and chaotically in the night. The black hole grew and the perfectly poised, perfectly even, perfectly arcing trajectory of the planets took them straight into it.
