She was a self centered woman and always thought about her own profit. Her motive for this unrealistic demand and get the tiger's skin was to humiliate Loona Bimberton. Her desire to kill a tiger required an assistant who could handle the other related jobs here we were introduced to Miss Lousa Mebbin. Mrs Packletide and her assistant then went to a village where there was an old tiger, so Mrs Packletide gave thousand rupees to the villagers which was a good sum so that her work would become easier. So the villagers here took care that the tiger did not left the ground. After a few days Mrs. Packletide was ready to hunt down the tiger so the villagers got ready with a ramp. They even arranged a goat which was continuously bleating so any old beast couuld hear the goat. Then Mrs. Packletide took a gun and then she was ready to hunt down the tiger. So when she triggered the gun it created a loud sound so the tiger fainted and died as he was extremely old. Mrs Packletide and her assistant came to know that the bullet did not shot the tiger. The approach or thinking such jobs itself shows a woman's nature. She spend thousand rupees to do the job . This also shows that Mrs. Packletide acted as a colonizer. She one cannot do this job hence she required an assistant. Lousa Mebbin arranged the villagers. To perform various jobs which required to be done for killing a tiger.
