1.            Carry out activities planned by the Summer Coordinator, being mindful of the children’s safety and abilities.  

 

2.            Ensure youth Sign-In Sheets are maintained and submitted to Summer Coordinator for all structured sessions.

 

3.            Conduct activities as assigned, ensuring the children’s’ safety and abilities.

 

4.            When scheduled to work during the children’s’ breakfast and lunch hours, help maintain order and discipline in the dining room, all the while attending to the children’s group and individual needs.

 

5.            Set up and clean up for activities.

 

6.            Document hours worked on agency time clock to verify hours on time sheets that must be submitted to the Summer Coordinator.

 

7.            Perform other duties as properly assigned.

We are looking for Swim Instructors to organize and instruct tots, children, adults, seniors and physically/intellectually challenged persons in our Learn to Swim Program this summer.  Instructors will also coach swim teams, supervise adult lap swim, instruct seniors in water exercise and act as Aquatic Director

 

1. Three years of participation in a recreational pursuit, art, craft or other as a team member, teacher, performer, coach, official, contestant or demonstrator including at least one year of experience in a recreational pursuit, art, craft to be performed on the job, as described above; or

2. Major study in that recreational pursuit, art, or craft to be performed on the job, as described below, 

acquired in a high school, college or other appropriate institution over at least a three-year period; or

3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.  However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience or education in that art, craft or recreational pursuit to be performed on the job as described above.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

1.     American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor.

2.     American Red Cross CPR or equivalent certification.

3.     3 years of Recreation experience, including 1 year of aquatics experience or equivalent education and 

        experience.  

4.     Bachelor Degree

 

Salary: $45,000

 | Bachelor's degree required.  At least 6 (six) seasons of experience coaching or playing tennis at the collegiate level.  Coaching or playing tennis at the professional level may count towards this requirement. Must have outstanding technical, tactical and strategic knowledge of tennis, including a proven ability to build strong tennis teams. including the ability to work with and relate well to a diverse group of athletes, administrators.  Must be administratively self-sufficient and be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and web applications.  Should have basic video filming, editing and analytical ability.

Description: TGA Premier Sports of Bergen County organizes youth sports programs for kids ages 3-14. During the school year we run after school programs during the week, along with weekend events. In the summer and during school breaks, we have multi-sport and sport specific camps.

2.Head Men's and Women's Track and Field Coach
Definition: The University of Jamestown (NAIA), located in Jamestown, ND, is seeking applicants for Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Head Coach.  The selected candidate will ensure the team operates and conducts themselves within the ideals, goals, rules and regulations set forth by University of Jamestown, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC). The successful candidate will embrace and promote the five core character values of the NAIA Champions of Character; Respect, Integrity, Responsibility, Servant Leadership and Sportsmanship as well as the tenants of the University of Jamestown Journey to Success; Look Inward, Look Outward, Look Beyond and Look Forward. This position reports directly to the Director of Athletics.  The successful candidate provides leadership, organization, supervision, instruction and strategic planning for the Jimmie Men’s and Women’s Track and Field Teams.

Qualifications: Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (Masters preferred) and previous collegiate track and field coaching experience. 

3.Assistant to the Athletic Director (Internship)
Sarah Lawrence College: Assistant to the Athletic Director Internship. This is a full-time ten month position for both the 2018-19 and 2019-20 academic years. Salary: $23,660 annually for 10 months plus full benefits, $3000 professional development stipend and meal stipend. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university. Knowledge of NCAA rules and previous NCAA Division III playing experience or athletics involvement preferred. Applicants must also have strong computer knowledge and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Responsibilities: Essential job functions include assisting in the areas of compliance and eligibility, budget, athletic operations and student-athlete welfare.
