         <title>Assassination of Franz Ferdinand (June 28, 1914)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Archduke of Austria, Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie were assassinated by the shots of a Serbian nationalist. This occurred when they were on their way to Bosnian Capital of Sarajevo. And so this triggered the beginning of one of history's most memorable and impactful war.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>apposing teams counterattacked and used <strong><em>Trenches </em></strong>as an advantage. <strong>Trenches<em> </em></strong>are dug up ditches in the ground by troops able to serve as more of a shield but limiting the soldiers ability to move around. <strong>Trenches</strong> were able to contain platoons beholding up to a dozen men. Troops couldn't leave so they would eat, sleep, use the restroom and have to stay there even with hurrid climate. </p>]]></description>

This lead to many lives being lost, leaving the public with multiple negative opinions and ugly looks regarding Germany. this sparked and outrage to WWI.</p>]]></description>

July first was when it started and is know for being one of most blood shedding days at this time. Boths sides also ended with crucial casualties. </p>]]></description>

Both sides that went against each other in the war suffered from major casualties. The French using multiple defense strategies. German armies strategy was to inflict as much damage to the French. And in this case, it was trying to prevent WWI from continuing hoping Germany and the British would stop the War and find peace or an end to it. This day is now declared Armistice day committing to honor the casualties of lost lives and honor those who served, along with declaring an end to WWI. Germans deemed the losing side.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>This was practically an official peace treaty signed in June 28, 1919 regarding WWI finally coming to an end. President Woodrow Wilson participated a lot to this peace treaty. this document also established the League of nations mainly focusing on trying to prevent future wars and battles. Germany was harshly punished for all the damage done in WWI.</p>]]></description>
