Gandhi, Rajmohan. "Discrimination Against Muslims in America Must Stop." Do Religious Groups in America Experience Discrimination?, edited by Janel Ginn, Greenhaven Press, 2007. At Issue. Opposing Viewpoints in Context, http://link.galegroup.com/apps/doc/EJ3010460212/OVIC?u=bcps&xid=936708a9. Accessed 27 Feb. 2018. Originally published as "A Pact Between Man and His God," Vital Speeches of the Day, vol. 70, 1 Feb. 2004.

The issue of racism has been continuing for hundreds of years, while equality is on the rise, many groups face racism still. Rajmohan Gandhi discusses in his article how religious groups often still face discrimination. Gandhi uses historic evidence along with quotes and anecdotal evidence to persuade readers and get across the message that change needs to happen and soon. Gandhi uses examples for his life and personal experiences to show what hardships Muslims go through in America. In one statement Gandhi states “Most Muslims are Muslims because they were born into Muslim families; most Americans are Americans because they were born so. Blaming Muslims because they are Muslim, or Americans because they are American, means that people are being condemned, for their birth, for their blood, for their DNA.” This is a very strong point made by Gandhi to show that though most Muslims have not personally harmed or affected those of another race does not mean they will not be discriminated against.

The author presents the idea that change needs to happen and that this issue cannot continue. The facts presented in the article are up to date and will be very useful. Since the author or this article has personally experienced the social injustice and discrimination he is addressing, it makes the article more credible and reliable.

The IUD weakens the teen’s choice to have sex. By doing this device you can have sex without ever worrying about getting pregnant for years. This is setting double standards for females by putting these steroids in their bodies. They undermined the role of the parents. If the parents are telling them that it’s not safe to have sex then the family doctor comes and haves a “safe” sex plan and makes it seem completely okay to have sex he is stepping over the parents.

The author, Eric Scheidler, is an ardent pro-life activist and the communications director for the Pro-Life Action League. Scheidler’s expresses draws upon personally experience how he mentions that he is a father. This article was posted in 2016 while it is 2018 now I still believe that this is very relevant. The type of evidence the author provides is from personal experience.

This article will be very useful in my research in my argument because I can see other useful of birth control.
