         <title>Hi . Great job Flavio. These things are SO difficult. ive spent years in radio production but the mixing is definitely a specialist skill. As you will be able to hear there are a few places where the individual saxes are not quite together on some of the quaver passages which are incredibly difficult to get together anyway. Its down to our problems sticking strictly to the beat. But It might be that if they were tweaked slightly T 0&#39;11-13&quot;; 0&#39;16-21&quot; and 50-51&quot; it might be improved. Alternatively the 2nd version of those passages at 0&#39;58-1&#39;04 is much tighter. Could past of that be cut and pasted over the earlier passages? The intro is great- punchy and dramatic. Thanks for doing this . It must have taken ages.</title>

         <title>Well done Flavio -this gives us all a good chance to have a project to focus on during this time when we are away from the college and to practice, practice , practice. So that is well worth it in itself. The recording is getting there, and better with every mix although I think the bass is a bit too loud and of course we need the drums to give it that oomph! <title>The more I listened to the track, the more I realised how precisely each phrase is played: tongued, slurred etc. The challenge - getting it to swing at a faster speed than we are used to. All of which I found incredibly hard with lockdown embouchure and tone. I agree with Barry that sessional rehearsals - even for part of the time - would be great, (Bob Mintzer coaching the saxes, perhaps?) ! Or that sax teacher who sat in once... Anyhow, well done Flavio for forcing those of us who haven&#39;t played for much of lockdown to get our instruments out! Julie</title>

         <title>Flavio -huge congrats on the film version of Home Basie by our MBB. I am sure that we all appreciate the work that you have put into this project. It was well worth it and just to &#39;see&#39; everyone playing again was well worth it, keeps us connected. Yesterday I signed up for June MBB start. I hope others can do the same. Bob </title>

         <title>Hi Flavio -- congratulations on a great job! I loved it and can&#39;t wait to see it on the big screen. Of course, it was quite rough in places, but that really is only to be expected as it is technically very difficult to play, merge and mix a dozen or more independent recorded tracks. I&#39;ve done a few over the past twelve months, but only ever with small numbers. My only criticism would be that the choice of piece was probably not the best for a starter project -- it&#39;s a bit too fast for comfort and the precision needed is really hard to achieve. A very useful incentive to keep practising though. Thanks for the opportunity! Bill</title>

         <title>

It was great to get together, meet and play with the band, to do this.
Thanks so much Flavio, for this project idea and all your time hard work on the implementation
I love the tune, love the little, simple and hopefully funky guitar line as writ.
Beyond that it’s harder to comment and reflect - I think the rhythm section had a relatively easy ride this first 49 bars.
Looking forward to our Wednesday evenings, and starting in June.
Paul
