         <description><![CDATA[<div>One example of Roman Architecture is the Colosseum.</div><h1>It is located at the center of the city of Rome Italy and can hold a maximum of 80,000 people. The construction started in 72 AD and ended in 80 AD. It is built of travertine limestone, tuff, and brick faced concrete. The Colosseum was first used for gladiatorial contest and public spectacles which was later reused for other purposes.</h1>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Another example is the Pantheon. The Pantheon is a Roman temple&nbsp;and was used as a church since 7th century. It was commissioned by Marcus Agrippa during the reign of Augustus and rebuilt by Hadrian. The Pantheon is a cylindrical building with a portico of 16 granite Corinthian columns under a pediment. This building is still used today and was visited by 6 million people in 2013.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The last example of a Roman Architecture is the Baths of Caracalla. The Baths of Caracalla was Rome's second largest thermae initiated by Septimius Severus and finished by the reign of Caracalla. It is build between 212 AD and 216 AD and operated until 530s. Many other significant buildings were inspired by it and a lot of famous artwork were recovered from the ruins.</div>]]></description>

They were elected by the Comitia Centuriata, which had an aristocratic bias in its voting structure which only increased over the years from its foundation.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A second way that the Romans have connections to modern times are aqueducts. You may not realize it, but if you live by the mountains most of the water you drink is from aqueducts. Modern aqueducts are almost the exact same as Roman aqueducts except that we use a treatment facility to treat the water and make the aqueducts out of different materials.</div>]]></description>
