There are many different types of stomach cancers the most common found in 90-95% of cases is adenocarcinomas. Overall, in the United States there are fewer than 28,000 cases of stomach cancer cases reported every year typically seen in those 60 years or older. &nbsp;&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Stomach cancer cells usually begin on the inner lining of the stomach walls and as the cancer progresses it penetrates deeper into the stomach walls. As it progresses the tumor can involve other nearby organs such as the liver and pancreas.&nbsp;<br><br>2. Stomach cancer can take years to develop as it is more slow-growing compared to some other cancers. Although it may seem like it’s a good thing it is slower at growth this means it can go undiagnosed for a longer period of time.&nbsp;<br><br>3. The main treatments for stomach cancer are surgery, chemotherapy, and targeted drug therapy for stomach cancer.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

The lifetime risk of stomach cancer is predominantly higher in men age 65 or older and 1 in 96 men will develop stomach cancer compared to women at the rate of 1 in 152.&nbsp;<br><br>2. &nbsp;In the United States the rates of stomach cancer have been dropping 1.5% each year in the last 10 years.&nbsp;<br><br>3. The increase use of refrigeration for food storage, which in turn lead to less people eating less salted and smoked food which is a known as a risk factor for stomach cancer.&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
