Conduction is the process by which heat or electricity is directly transmitted through a substance when there is a difference of temperature or of electrical potential between adjoining regions, without movement of the material. Heat in science is defined as the form of energy that flows between two samples due to their difference in temperature.

The 1st ESLR used in this activity is working well with others. We worked well with each other by lighting up the candles and removing wax from the candles. We also worked together on looking at the ax and which one of them melted faster. Its important to work well with others because not only is it helpful in life but its also easy, and simple.

The 2nd ESLR used in this activity is demonstrating a positive work ethic. We demonstrated a positive work ethic by helping each other wisely. Helping each other is very important because not only do you do it right you also learn from each others mistakes. In this activity we helped each other by lighting up candles and watching the wax melt.
