This article on homelessness and  homeless youth is targeted to the youths in Toronto that go to the "Evergreen Centre for Street Youth", looking for a meal, health care and help finding work. Each day, about 150 youth pass through Evergreen’s door, a few blocks from the intersection at Yonge and Dundas, the crossroads of Canada’s busiest shopping district. It may also be the epicentre of youth homelessness in this country. This article exhibits the importance of supporting youth and helping build their belief in themselves. Many youth end up homeless because they doubt their own ability to financially support themselves, so they self-sabotage. Teaching children that they should believe in themselves and their abilities can prevent many kids from ending up homeless, and since homelessness can cause a lower self-esteem as well, this woman is motivating them to change so they can get their lives together, which is something they really need.

In this article they explain what a homeless youth is, they also share the some of the reasons for why they are homeless. such as their families are financially unstable, drug abuse, not accepting the child and etc. They also tell you the side affects of this happening. such as they are missing vital roles in their life so the young adult won't have anyone to turn to for help, and they are more likely to be victimized.
