1. Add your name to the Padlet. 2. Record what sections of the project you are sharing (Abiotic Factors, Human Impact, Food Web, Energy Pyramid, Ecosystem Description, etc.) 3. Summarize what you are going to say for each section.

*Energy pyramid: Announce trophic level and share 2 organisms at each trophic level.

*Food Web: Share 4-5 Feeding Relationships

*Take a PICTURE of ONE section that you are presenting!!

Yellowstone has many types of ecosystems, but the sub-alpine forest is the most widespread. Yellowstone also has a large amount of diversity everywhere in the park. Yellowstone National Park also offers tours of it you can also stay their in some of the lodges and see the beauty of the park. Yellowstone usually stays cold even throughout some of the hottest months for you, during these months it usually stays around 50 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer. But in the winter it is freezing it is actually -4 degrees Fahrenheit which is cold enough to freeze a entire lake and kill some organisms.

A mix of tropical and subartic waters.
Populations Affected: Giant Kelp needs cold water to grow. Seasonal changes affects kelp bass mating.Purple Sea Urchin likes vigorous waters. Garibaldi needs clear water, like where kelp grows. Leopard Sharks are very vulnerable to pollution.
Food Pyramid: We have Producer, Primary Consumer, Secondary Consumer, Tertiary Consumer, and Decomposer. Giant Kelp and Red Algae are producers. Garibaldi and Spiny Brittle Star are Primary Consumers. Kelp Bass and California Sheephead are Secondary Consumers. Leopard Shark and Red Octopus are Tertiary Consumers. Marine Bacteria is a Decomposer

It is located along the coast of California. It is the giant kelp biome. The kelp grows form the rocky seabed. Monterrey Bay is home to many Marine Wildlife including the Sea Otter, the Humpback Whale, the Northern Elephant seal, and even the Great White Shark. It is also the largest marine sanctuary, it covers 13,730 square kilometers.
Abiotic Effects on the ecosystem: One of the biggest abiotic effects on the Monterrey Bay ecosystem is the El Nino. El Nino is a weather pattern that only happens every 3 to 7 years. This causes the currents to change and make the water is Monterrey Bay warmer. This affects the ecosystem by making the kelp grow slower and making it harder for smaller animals to hide.
Food web: The Giant green anemone eats the phytoplankton.
The spiny brittle star eats the giant kelp. The Garibaldi eats the Red algae. The California Sheephead eats the Spiny Brittle star.

Yellowstone National Park
Human Impact:

Today, the park attracts over 2,000 visitors every year.
The park soon showed the impact of poaching and vandalism.
People were hunting, mostly gray wolves.
Humans had made very, very big impacts on Yellowstone Park by poaching and vandalism. That was until rules were made and everything around that type of stuff, poaching and vandalism, was prohibited.
Populations affected:
Gray wolves are going endangered in many areas due to poaching.
Hunting rights and fishing rights were prohibited.
The populations effected were all of them. This is because all of the animals there were used to their habitat, then humans just came in and destroyed it.

It is one of the most untouched by humans on Earth. Supposedly if animals step on the grass then it dies, since it is so tense. There is also a lot of pollution caused by carbon in the air. Some of the abiotic factors in my ecosystems are, the weather and temperature are always hot or warm. All seasons are Hot but Winter they say is just warm. It is always rocky and sand in the desert.

The populations that are effected are all of them because they are used to their habitat and if it were to get cold in the desert they might die or act differently because they aren´t used to it. One example of a population that is effected is all of the plants because the could die if their habitat got to cold. There for it could make the Primary consumers die. Then the trail would continue to die and there would eventually be nothing for the top consumers to eat.

For the List human impact: We put c02 into the atmosphere.
We farm the kelp that grows their.
We feed the fish which is bad.
We pollute the water and the air.We take some of the injured animals in for rehabilitation. We also have helped many of the animals with their disabilities.

For the Human effects on the ecosystem:We have affected all of these creatures in many ways. The number one way is that we have polluted the water and air. We have also littered in the water and on land. We affected the ecosystem in a good way by taking in some of the injured animals in for rehabilitation. Us doing this helped many animals live and be able to reproduce.. This has had a huge affect on all of these organisms.

For the populations effect by human issues: The populations that are affected by us humans are: Southern Sea Otter, Humpback Whale, Northern Elephant Seal, White Shark, Brown Pelican, Long Beaked Dolphin, Orca, Western gull, Red Algae, Giant Kelp, Phytoplankton, Zooplankton, Kelp Bass, Red Octopus, California Spiny Lobster, Purple Sea Urchin, Garibaldi, Zooxanthellae, Marine Bacteria, Red Abalone, Turban Snail, California Sheephead, Leopard Shark, Spiny Brittle Star, Bat Star, Giant Green Anemone, and the Bryozoa.

Ecosenario: Monterrey Bay
Ecosystem Description: I'm going to say that Monterrey bay is one of 13 national marine sanctuaries.

ABIOTIC EFFECTS ON THE ECOSYSTEM:
Hurricanes; In Florida hurricanes can occur often so they destroy many animal's habitat.
Weather; the weather can get really high and the water could precipitate. The water drain each year is roughly 100-165 cm. And overtime salinity level can rise.
Temperatures; warm temperatures creates a yearlong growing season for wetland producers that is most active during the wet season.
