In 2020, Google and the US Government were involved in a lawsuit whereby the US Government sued Google for a civil untrust lawsuit. Essentially, they accused Google of unlawfully maintaining monopolies.

"Everyone has the right to work, to free choice of employment, to just and favourable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment." -- This right isn't necessarily guaranteed to everyone in the US because in some cases, people lack the ability of getting jobs because of particular documents, or because of "insufficient" education. This creates a standard that you have to be a "certain way" to actually have a job in the US

  2. What type of response is this to globalization? (Think SPICE themes) This can be seen as an economic/social response to globalization since the organization was connecting with people from a different region as well as participating in trade, thus generation profit.
  3. How is this an anti-globalization response? This is an anti-globalization response because rather than diffusing technological, aggricultural, and social advances to specific countries that are a part of the global community, it incorporates poor countries that are struggling to become self-sustainable countries.
  4. What happened as a result of this response? As a result, not only have fair trade companies increased, but they have created more job opportunities for workers in developing countries.
