Samoa is a small island part of Polynesia. Being Samoan is definitely different and has played a huge part in shaping who I am today. We are loving people and definitely stick to our roots. There are a ton of stereotypes about our people, but get to know us, and you'll find they're really just stereotypes. Being LDS most definitely has shaped who I am. A lot of people see us as "judgemental" but you can't categorize everyone because of a few members actions. Girls are so dramatic and there are some evil girls out there, lets be completely honest. But I'm not a tom boy either, I just love some things that are typically for guys. Being a female in this generation can be hard. Everyone expects you to be a (please excuse the language) hoe, slut, etc. and then shuns them for it. One thing I know for sure is that I will not lose my self respect and conform to what the majority is. And I'm not judging anyone, because that's their life. What they decide to do is their business, not mine. "God, Family, and Hardwork." I would not be the person I am today without my family. I have 8 brothers and sisters, all the same parents and we are all SUPER close. We're all within a year of eachother, so you can see my mom had no breaks and still doesn't.
