For us to successfully achieve equity within the district, specifically reducing predictability of success, teachers must be understanding of why success is predictable. Why is the race of a student the most telling characteristic of their success? To allow teachers to identify how we can go beyond diversity or how we can be genuinely culturally diverse rather than looking at the surface culture of our students.

Campus leaders and faculty will need opportunities to learn how to change their thinking about school design and classroom climate. Problem based learning should be a cornerstone of teaching and learning in all schools.

We also need to offer opportunities for teachers and students to move BEYOND test preparation as the core curriculum of the class - this is especially true of underperforming/continually struggling campuses.
