         <title>Questionnaire Design</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Unit 6 started by explaining the importance and impact of communication medium on questionnaire design. It stated that communication medium is important because it impacts the way the respondents interpret and answer questions and it influence&nbsp; the way the researcher structures the questionnaire such as the type of content, format of questions and phrasing of questions in the questionnaire. Remembering my experience from school, communication can be a&nbsp; burden to the respondent to interpret, follow instructions and interpret and respond to questions on a questionnaire. Further in the unit we learnt about open-ended and closed questions and the errors the respondents and interviewers may experience using questionnaires.&nbsp;<br>At the end of the Unit reading, we were asked to create a questionnaire for a pizzeria to research the customers eating habits and demography. The task was not complicated since I had some previous knowledge on the topic.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Data Preparation and Presentation</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;Unit 7&nbsp;provided information on&nbsp;data preparation and presentation. This involves editing and coding data, centering and cleaning data and displaying data for analysis.&nbsp;&nbsp;The previous week covered questionnaire design, so this week we learnt how to convert raw data into presentations. We also learnt that&nbsp;quality control is very important throughout preparation of data for analysis, which is why data should be edited and cleaned at the respective stages in the process.&nbsp; We learnt that data may be more difficult to analyze and interpret unless it is appropriately displayed in a visual form.&nbsp; My main take away from this Unit is how to analyze data from the questionnaire. This will beneficial for the up coming week when completing my Research Paper.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Data Analysis </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Following the completion of Unit 7 was the debate; whose main focus was of whether or not probability sampling or non-probability sampling is the appropriate method to conduct a survey for a financial institution on customer service. The debate was a very good exercise. It encourage team work since we were place in groups. It was also an opportunity to re-enforce the data collection methods. However, moving away from the debate activity was the introduction of Unit 8. Unit 8 main focus data analysis. Its objective was to learn the basic qualitative data analysis process, describe processes involved in analyzing qualitative data and analyze qualitative data using appropriate data analysis techniques.&nbsp;<br>Qualitative data analysis is basically the non-numerical examination and interpretation of observations, for the purpose of discovering underlying meanings and patters of relationships (Babbie, 2014 p. 463) while Quantitative data analysis is the systematic analysis of numerical data collected or the analysis of data that is converted to numerical form. Learning about qualitative and quantitative data were very useful since it was a crucial part of my research paper. Additionally, the Unit covered&nbsp; how to determine frequency, correlation of quantitative data and how to use tables, graphs and charts to display and interpret descriptive data.&nbsp;<br>Finally, the Unit spoke about inferential statistics, estimation statistic and hypothesis testing statistics. Hypothesis testing statistics are used to make statistical inferences about whether or not data support a particular hypothesis.<br>This Unit provide&nbsp;the tools needed&nbsp;to complete a research study and&nbsp;the competencies necessary for analyzing qualitative data using univariate and bivariate analyses.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
