1. At OCCS we were not able to have a study hall called Learning Strategies. I have joined that.
2. I am not very good at math and I can never remember the steps.

Now, when I study or do homework, I don't listen to music, and I chew gum in class to stay focused. Also, I needed help understanding math some times, so I got after-school help.

I struggle with adequately preparing for tests, especially math tests. Also, I am pretty bad about focusing and paying attention while the teacher is talking during math class.

1. I used Quizlet in middle school and I continue to use it because it help a lot.

I joined Learning Strategies to help me with my homework so I'm not as stressed when I get home. I also like taking breaks every once in awhile. I still struggle to keep my locker clean so when I open my locker everything falls out >.<

2. Something that I still struggle with is staying on task and focussing. At home when I do homework, I get distracted really easily with my computer. Also when we have to take notes, I can't write/type fast enough. I also have to study more because in high school, grades actually matter.

1. I read over the study guide a few days before and then the night before I study for a hour or so. 2. If there is a lot of test on one day it is challenging to know how much time I need to study for those tests.
