I’m from Barcelona, but I grew up in Sitges, a seaside town. I’ve been sailing since I was 6, and honestly, I’ve spent more time at sea and around boats than in school. I wasn’t really into studying much. I did an art's baccalaureate and then started a communication degree because everyone said I was good at working with people. But what I really loved was being around kids, which is why I ended up studying to become a primary school teacher.

I’ve been working as an instructor since I was 16, starting as a sailing coach, and then moving on to all kinds of jobs, like summer camps, after-school programs, and more. I have the FCE, which I was forced to get when I was 16, and I have the level of Catalan you get from a university degree, though I’m not sure exactly what that level is.

I want to be the kind of teacher who encourages students to think critically, reflect deeply, and question the world around them. My goal is to develop curiosity and cross-disciplinary learning, pushing them to ask questions, challenge the status quo, and solve real-life problems. I hope to inspire them to be independent, motivated from within, and to grow into adults with a strong sense of purpose.

In today’s world, where machines and technology often do everything for us, we risk losing our sense of living and the ability to improve the world through our own efforts and creativity. I want each of my students to discover their place and their "purpose" on this planet, in a way that’s organic, sustainable, and realistic, both for themselves and for the world they live in.

I’m deeply passionate about nature and love being outdoors. My favorite activities include hiking, surfing, running, climbing, and cycling. I also enjoy reading and learning about the world around us, understanding who we are on the inside, and discovering how things work. I find joy in spending time with friends, laughing together, and reflecting on ways we can improve how we treat the planet. I also feel a deep motivation to make a positive impact on the education system.

Though I’m quite idealistic, I believe that’s part of my purpose. Oh, and I love a good concert with a beer, too!

I want to learn teaching strategies that will help me as a teacher, explore innovative pedagogical methods, meet my classmates, have fun, and create projects that are useful and that boost my own creativity and make me think.

I really want to be pushed to think creatively, but not in a way that’s disconnected from today’s reality. I want to see what challenges teachers face right now and discover solutions together with my classmates.
