This created massive hull damage and allowed hundreds of thousand of crude oil to be released into the environment and water off the coast of Alaska. This accident released nearly 11 million gallons of crude oil into the sea destroying sea life habitats, snd severely injuring/affecting anything life that came into contact with the oil. This catastrophe created by human impacts was countered by national agencies of both Canada and the US in environmental protection.
Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Trustee Council. Chernobyl was one of the first places to have a nuclear reactor in place, but when construction completed a single reactor was malfunctioning alongside ill prepared workers, a complete nuclear meltdown ensued killing 2 immediately and another 28 workers due to radioactive poisoning. This also meant that any wildlife in the area would be soon the follow the same fate, completely destroying the habitat around to which many animals called their home, all because of human impacts on the environment
"Javascript Required!" Chernobyl | Chernobyl Accident | Chernobyl Disaster - World Nuclear Association.

From December 5 to the 9nth of 1952, the weather was windless, and cold. Because of the current weather the constant spewing of coal dust into the atmosphere meant none of it would be lifted to other areas, so as coal burning continued the air became increasingly thick with dust. Although the Great Smog affected only London, it left 12,000 people dead, snd another 200,000 injured. It also killed or injured wildlife flying and passing through the city. Because of human impacts on the environment, thousands were killed, and countless wildlife were affected.

Klein, Christopher. "The Killer Fog That Blanketed London." History.com.
