         <description><![CDATA[<p>From 1750 to 1850 mainly in Manhattan people from ages 9-13 were working for HOURS (talking about 10-19 hours a day) for low wages 20 cents an hour. (roughly 20,000 a year). The reason they started the working class in the first place was because of the extreme revolution in the industrial field, machines need people to operate them while also helping with the production. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>A shortage of currency that started in 1873 due from the fact that people were buying land in order to create railroad tracks after the civil war. It effected the banks and economy very badly, leading to rise in inflation also leading into a semi- great depression. </p>]]></description>
