I can see young children, of all races.
Another thing that I notice is that they are holding up cartons and paper.
One more thing that I notice, is that they are outside.

Inferences-
My first inference would be that the kids are doing a project or investigation.
My second inference would be that they probably looking for something that they lost in those boxes.
The last inference that I could think of is that this photo was taken in the cold, in the early/mid 1900's.
