This interpretation is not very good.

First, it has been incorrectly placed in parentheses or brackets.

Secondly, the word 'confirms' is very strong and creates contradiction. Cautious language should be used (e.g., 'may indicate' that, or 'suggests that perhaps').

Also, this should be one paragraph, not two.
