They needed money and- surprise- they could steal it all From the poor colonies. It was because of this and the fact America was being an edgy rebellious teenager and not listening to Wngland that they taxed them a l o t. So America got mad that they were taking their money without going over there, they hadn't no representation. So when they did have representation (tax collectors) the Americans attacked them because even back then we were stubborn and unreasonable. They were pretty mad so they called some cool dudes to reason it out. They tried to ask the crown for some Reason (trademarked) but they said "nah :)"
