One of the biggest reason I want to see the Sistine Chapel is to view the mass painting that covers the ceiling. The stained glass windows that color the ground in holy tales. To see the years of work and backbreaking labor hand painting those scenes. The hugeness of the entire building also calls to my attention and the amount of calculations and work had to be put into placing and forming the holy building.
