I have worked with kids since I was a sophomore in high school and continued all the way until my senior year. After I graduated I worked in Ceres in the after school. I realized I have so much passion for kids and enjoy working with them. My goal is to be a preschool teacher and help the kids succeed and for them to learn a lot.

Diversity allows people to explore differences in others. Some of the ways I will support diversity in the workplace is say I was working with students for example, some ways I would teach diversity to them is having posters around my classroom, reading books, getting to know the students, arts and crafts and many other things you can do. I think teaching diversity to kids is important because it can help them feel safe and confident about themselves.

When a teacher becomes a teacher, she doesn’t just have to teach. She needs to build a relationship with their students and make them trust them. The teacher needs to have patience for kids, it’s not always easy to work with kids so a lot of patience is needed.
