I have a friend who's really stubborn. It’s honestly exhausting dealing with her sometimes, because no matter how many times she asks for my opinion, she always finds a way to push back or disagree. It’s like she’s not actually looking for an answer, just a chance to argue or prove that she already knows better. I’ll be sitting there, thinking I’m helping, giving her exactly what she asked for, trying to be supportive, and the next thing I know, she’s telling me why I’m wrong, or how that wouldn't work for her, or how she was thinking of doing the complete opposite anyway. It’s maddening, because it feels like she’s not even listening, like she asks just for the sake of asking, but her mind is already made up. And yet, she keeps coming back, again and again, asking the same types of questions, expecting different responses, and somehow still refusing to accept any of them. I try to stay patient, to remind myself that maybe she just needs to talk things through, but after a while, it starts to feel less like a conversation and more like a wall I keep running into. I want to be there for her, but I can’t help but feel like I’m stuck in this endless loop where nothing I say is ever quite right, no matter how carefully or kindly I say it. There are just some times where I just want to bash her head onto the ground because of how annoying she is.. What should I do?
