Blue class are exploring all things space this term so we have zoomed around planets during wheelchair dancing, made moon crater prints for art and got messy while exploring alien slime. Some children had the chance to visit a music bus and attend a music session with ben, the children got to explore a variety of instruments and listen to music. All our usual sessions continued too such as space sensory story, making rock buns in sensory cooking and musical communication.

This week has been outdoor learning and world book day, blue class brought outdoors in and explored compost, potatoes and seeds. For world book day some of us went for an alien hunt around school to find the missing aliens.

Blue class continued with their space themed process art and wheelchair dancing, exploring and moving is what we enjoy. As Mother’s Day approaches for our wonderful mums/carers and special ladies many arts and crafts took part. Blue class also took part in drumming, space sensory story, light and dark exploring and went to the Lightroom and soft play.

Blue class moved onto Easter themed activities this week as we get closer to Easter holidays. Sensory story was about Hoppy the rabbit who waited for spring to arrive to meet his friends. During music we explored sounds with a variety of drums and musical instruments. As the nice weather continued our community walk found us stopping at the park and enjoying time on the swings. Blue class had lots of fun in the light room, outside in the sensory garden and during messy move.

Blue class have been on an Easter adventure with Hoppy the bunny and his friends, explored lots of objects using our 5 sense’s that linked to Spring and Easter, Musical Communication and Drumming is always a big favourite. On Thursday most went outside to take part in an Easter egg hunt and we even found Easter bubbles… wow!!
