Ideology is a set of ideas or beliefs held by an individual or group of people, such as feminism, racism, or religion. The photo below demonstrates how these ideologies can blind and silence those who have taken a belief in them, and how you can be closed off to other issues or realities around you.

Having an emotional connection in a situation can make us want to believe, this can cause someone's thoughts to be blurred and obscured. The picture below shows that having a close connection with someone can cause people to believe in something they may ordinarly not believe in, in order to maintain the connection with that person.

Perception and observation is when our observations together with our experiences can cause a difference perception of the incident that occured. This picture demonstates because our eyes are the main point of our perception, and everyones perception can be different.

Ancient wisdom is products of ideas that are based from ancient times. In the ancient times little was known about the human body, since then we have made many new discoveries and have a better understanding of the human body. For example the shape of the skull was once believed to reflect one persons personal traits and intelligence, this is now known to be false.

Confusion of causation and correlation is when people assume that there is a connection between two separate incidents, cause-and-effect. This photo related to this ref flag as many people have made a correlation between early years vaccines and early diagnosis of autism in children.

Appeal to authority is when a claim is believed to be true based on the reputation and publicity of the claimant instead of the truth behind what is being claimed. It is seen in our society that certain professions hold very strong reputations and we often put our trust and sometimes our lives into the hands of these people. We tend to believe these people very quickly before we take a moment to trust what our gut instinct may be telling us is truly the truth. A primary example of this is in the case of Doctors.

Ideological support is the use of a set of beliefs (either of an individual or a group of people) that often stigmatizes a certain culture to push a campaign, rather than actual facts. The reason that there is a picture of Trump attached to this post is because he targeted the fear of multiculturalism and race to power his campaign. He also used the belief that "America is the greatest country, and needs to be made great again" to push his campaign forward.

The red flag know as "Red Herring" is when a bunch of irrelevant information is distributed in order to distract the subject from actually addressing the facts of the claim. In the comic below the gentleman in the suit builds himself an irrelevant person out of hay that he can challenge as a distraction from having to challenge the large green robot.
