Boku No Hero Academia Season 1

Hello everybody!
This is our first ever review, hope you all like it.

Story/plot:
Season 1 of BNHA starts of great with a strong and enticing story that really catches you. It starts off slow, with a great character development that really sets the tone. The interactions between Izuku and Bakugo are amazing, their "friendship" is really insteresting. Bakugo's anger and Izuku's spirit really keeps you invested. And when Izuku meets All Might, your interest spikes even more. The moment when you hear All Might tell Izuku that he'll give him his power, to become his succesor is a really powerful moment. And when he gets to UA, the anime starts to really take off.

His acceptance into UA after the entry test was a great moment, it showed the massive amounts of power his new quirk holds. And your "love" for Izuku grows as you watch him struggle with his new power. The anime really gets you cheering for him.

The introduction of the "League of Villains" really progressed the story forward, and it's there where we really get to see some fights and action packed scenes. To watch All Might struggle against the Nomu shows how powerful the enemy really is. And it gets you excited for season 2.

In conclusion, the 1st season of BNHA is a really good season, with an almost perfect balance of action and story/character development. Though, the anime is a bit slow at times. Which gets you less interested in the anime.
Therefore it gets an 8 out of 10 when it comes to the story/plot.
🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢⚫⚫ (8/10)

Visuals:
The visuals in the anime are amazing, the special fx are amazing, everything is visually amazing in the anime. I struggle to find anything visually bad about the anime.
Therefore it gets a 10 out of 10 when it comes to the Visuals.
🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢 (10/10)

Ear Candy:
It's hard to say anything bad about the sound design of the anime. Every sound effect fits the anime, and the music and openings are great, but not perfect.
Therefore it's an 8 out of 10 when it comes to Ear Candy.
🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢⚫⚫ (8/10)

Overall rating:
The show is amazing and almost perfect. It's a really good beginner friendly anime, that I recommend to anyone that hasn't seen it yet.
I give the show an overall rating of 9 out of 10.
🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢⚫ (9/10)

(I hope you all enjoyed the first review.)

The Devil is a part-timer

Characters/plot:

Devil is a part-timer is a great isekai that’s a little different from any other isekai. Right at the start we get introduced to a classic fantasy world with a demon king who’s trying to take over the world, and a legendary hero. Him and one of his loyal generals escape through a portal to another world, only to find themselves in the human world. In a world with limited magic, their only choice is to try and survive in this modern world by integrating themselves into society by getting a part time job.

I really liked the series a lot especially the way they flipped the genre of isekai, and was really entertaining and funny to watch. It's just a very funny situation the characters find themselves in, and that’s what I think makes it funny. It doesn’t try to make a comedic cliché it’s unique, and really is refreshing, from all the other isekais that almost have the same plot.

We have Sadao, Emilia, Ashiya and Chiho as the main characters who have this nice dynamic between them. Even if the characters was in the modern society they still had the dynamic as an epic fantasy characters.

Ashiya the loyal general tries to remain loyal to Sadao(the demon king) by becoming a housewife and then there's Emilia(the legendary hero) who has to deal with the internal conflict of confronting the mighty demon king, she spent her entire life to kill, just to find out he is a pretty normal guy who just work hard at his fast-food restaurant. She also have to maintain her world saving status while working at a telephone selling job. That is also a way I find it funny an entreating to watch. The balance of a normal everyday work and with fighting the demon king. Then you have Chiho/ tits McGee who is one of Sadao’s co workers who isn’t from the fantasy world where everybody else came from, but she gives the group a little extra.

In between the fast food joints, you have a few arcs that are focusing on the characters from the fantasy world. Where they try to kill the evil demon lord as they always have. It’s a great mixture that give unique comedy, and action that really make the series stand out. But if there is a downside it would be that the show never had a WAOW moment, but it was still entertaining.

I will rate it a 8/10
🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢⚫⚫

Visuals/animation:

The visuals of the series was good, it didn’t stand out that much from other series, like violet ever garden or kimi no na wa. But I definitely wasn’t bad. There is not much to say about the visuals. The animation was also nothing special. Although when they were fighting there was some parts when I was very satisfied with the animation.

I will rate the visuals and the animation 7/10
🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢⚫⚫⚫

Music:

Again there really aren’t anything special about the music, but now and then you hear something that stands out and you actually could listen too again. And the opening is also pretty good, Its standard, but good.

I will rate it a 8/10

Overall rating:

My overall rating is 8/10 because it never had a really WOAW moment and the if the visuals was a little better it could easily get a 10.
🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢⚫⚫

Genre

slice of life, comedy

Plot/characters

Yuru camp is a anime about five girls camping in japan,

they mainly camp around mount fuji, but they also camp other places, but only where they can see mount fuji, and they always wake up early, so they can see mount fuji in the sunset,

it’s a fun and relaxing anime, with the energetic nadeshiko who always give me a smile, everytime she sees rin-chan she yells RIN-CHANNNNNN!!!!!!!

and rin-chan who is the more silent one, who camps more alone than with the other girls,

but Rin-chan also has some screen time, where it’s only her that’s camping, and she likes to just sit by the campfire

while drinking tea and looking up at mount fuji,

if you just wanna take a break, from all the action animes and ecchis then you should definitely check it out.

I will rate it at a 7/10

Animation/visuals

the animation in the anime is mostly 2D, but it also have some 3D like the cars, and the 3D in the anime is pretty bad, but that’s also the only thing bad about the anime in my opinion,

the 2D part is pretty smooth, and it’s easy to follow what’s going on,

and the visuals in the anime is fantastic, you can almost feel how relaxing it is to sit in the winter by a campfire with a hot cup of tea,

and if I start to talk about how the surroundings look, then it’s going to be way too long,

so to put it short, it’s amazing how a show can make you feel so relaxed, just from the visuals.

i'm gonna give the animation/visuals a 9/10

Sound/music

where do I even begin

first let’s talk about the opening

the opening is a nice normal slice of life opening, not really anything special there,

but the music that comes through out the series, is some slow relaxing tones, that really sets the atmosphere, but even just the sound of a scooters engine is relaxing, the only thing that can be annoying, but also funny, is the small voices when they point or talk about things, like a pinecones or leafs.

I will rate it at a 10/10

overall rating

i'm gonna give it a 8/10

i'm gonna give it a high score, because of how relaxing it is.

Plot and story:

Death note is a really thought out anime that’s unique from any other thriller and psychological. It makes you really interested in the story and can really get you hooked to the series.

The whole anime is about light yagami who find a death note. The death note a book that can killer anybody just with name and a face. Light uses this power to change the world, but faces some obstacles along the way. The person In charge of taken down light yagami or kira is the worldwide famous detective L.

The fight between light yagami and L is the thing that really makes this anime as good as it is. Because the way the always trying counter each other. The “friendship” L and yagami has, is important to the story because you get this felling of rivalry between the guys and makes it super entertaining and satisfying.

Light yagami is a top student in Japan and everything is going well from him, But he always had a grudge against the way society was build. When he gets the death note he gets this felling that he has the power to change the world.

L is a genius detective that solves everything he gets his hands on and only the top police work. His purpose in life was to take down criminals like kira. The way L thinks, and act is a little different from any other guy, he have this unique mindset to solve the cases he gets.

For the plot and story we give it a

9/10

Visuals and animations:

The visuals give a dark and depressing vibe. The colors used throughout the series is gloomy and really fits the series a lot because of this demonic world where criminals kill and steal. The animation is good from it’s time, it was made in 2006 and you can actually fell it’s a little old, but it still keeps up with the modern animation.

7/10

Music/sound

The soundtrack had a really nice sound and fit pretty well into the series. It had a vast different in tracks. The openings are great especially the first one, but the second one was a little too death metal. The sound track throughout the series didn’t stand out fit pretty well and really set the tone.

6/10

Overall:

The overall rating is based on the three categories, if you like plot the most out of an anime this is for you. The music gave a little boost but it wasn’t anything that special.

7/10
